Song notes:
-Here I Am To Worship: In the key of D. Keep it on the faster side.
-You Are My Joy: In the key of G. Intro: mm.10-14. Don't forget 2nd time to coda at m.8. Guitar: m. 7 Bm and m. 50 C. No repeat on mm. 45-46. Cut mm. 47-48. Singers: Keep singing "Lala's" through m. 49. Otherwise, everything exactly as written.
-Holy Ground: In the key of D. Intro: pick up into m. 13-end. David play Jimbe on this song??? Elianna: I will give you music with harmony on Wednesday. If you want it before then, let me know, but the harmony is relatively easy. Verse 1: voices in unison. Verse 2: Add alto harmony (Elianna), we will experiment in our rehearsal Wednesday with light claps. Verse 3: A Capella. Sarah, Alex, George sing melody; Elianna sings alto; Marshall sings bass; Carolyn sings tenor up an octave as a descant; Marshall & Carolyn: Last word - put second syllable on downbeat of next measure.
*Speaker*
-Seek Ye First: In the key of C. Verse 3: Carolyn sings "Alleluia" descant, everyone else singing, be strong on diction.
-John 16:33: In the key of F. One time through.
Rehearsal notes for Wednesday:
-1st priority, make sure set up is good. Need 5 microphones: (Marshall, Speaker, Sarah, Elianna, Carolyn).
-Rehearse You Are My Joy, mic check for ballance.
-Once mics are set, rehearse Holy Ground. Decide about use of Jimbe, figure out claps for verse 2, special attention to vocal harmonies and balance to see if we need to make any changes.
-At this point, if mic check is good, mics can be turned off and any remaining time we can run through other pieces.
-Prayer.
-Show time :)
